No worries! You are not obliged to take out a subscription after the installation of the free optical fibre connection point.

The location of the free optical fibre connection point varies per complex. When your home is planned, we already have permission from the owner, VvE or housing association for the method of installation for the free optical fibre connection point.

Generally, the optical fibre cable rises through a stainless steel gutter on the outside of the façade. The cable will be drilled inside and properly finished. It is not always possible to reschedule the appointment because, we need an aerial working platform to install the free optical fibre connection point. It is possible to reschedule the time block, therefore you need to contact us by calling +31 85 - 484 57 00.

The optical fibre cable rises indoor through the meter boxes. The optical fibre cable will rise from the ground floor to the upper floor in a vertical line. Therefore, we ask the cooperation of every resident to be home on the same day and chosen time block so our mechanics do not have to stop their work and so we do not have to reschedule the appointment. If you are not available on the scheduled appointment, we ask you to perhaps call in a family member or a friend. Maybe even a friendly neighbour who you can trust because: “a good neighbour is worth more than a distant friend”.

If your free optical fibre connection point will be installed in the external meter box, we would like to ask you to open the external meter box on the scheduled appointment so our mechanics can work easily.

Apologies for the confusion! There is a possibility that there was a mix-up between confirming the appointment and sending a reminder. Intro Fiber divides the day into 2 time blocks:

Morning 08:00 – 12:00
Afternoon 12:00 – 17:00

Every day is different due to various reasons. Therefore, we cannot promise you a fixed time.

It is important that a person above 18 years of age is at home to receive the mechanic. If you are not able to receive our mechanic by yourself, in that case it is important for you to ask a family member or a good friend. Maybe even a friendly neighbour who you can trust because: “a good neighbour is worth more than a distant friend”.

There is an opportunity that we cannot install your neighbours’ free optical fibre connection point without your cooperation. Do not worry! Every day, our mechanics have a very busy schedule and do their utmost to be at your home as soon as possible. If you have not received a phone call, voicemail or e-mail regarding the cancellation of your appointment please remain patient. Our mechanics will arrive as soon as possible.
